“We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.”
~ Exotic ELF Angel ~
Hi there ^-^
Thank you so much for reading the first 2 parts of the story already. I hope you’ll enjoy the third one. Also thank you for your patience; I’ve been pretty busy lately, but I’ll try to write more regularly. Please like/reblog or message me if you have questions, concerns or just want to tell me anything! Thank you :3 ♥
(You can find every chapter here.)
Yuna closed her eyes, holding back tears. The only thing she wanted was being close to him again, feeling safe, protected in his arms. It started to rain more heavily, which made her run to pick up her bag en go inside. She walked passed her classroom and ended up on the toilet, fingers running through her hair. The girl sighed, taking her cellphone. Would he reply to her texts now? Or did he even change his number? Trying was the only option to figure out. “Can I talk to you later today? Without those 3? –Yuna” After a few seconds of doubt, she pressed on ‘send.’
People would notice if she would hide into the toilets the whole day, so Yuna decided to join the other students during the next hour: history. She sat down in the back right corner at a small table, didn’t want to get noticed, but she failed. “Hey…” She frowned as she noticed the blonde girl. You could obviously tell she had done a few procedures: The girl had double eyelids, an extremely small nose and her jaw was so small it looked like it could break in a second. “You know Yifan, right?” The blonde continued as Yuna didn’t reply. She swallowed, looking away. Yuna had always loved his original name, but hated it as other people used it. “I used to, yes.” She finally responded softly. The other girl’s face lit up. “Can you introduce me? He’s changed so much!” Yuna rolled her eyes at the girl’s question, letting out a small moan of frustration, ignoring the girl from now on. She could hear how she whispered something to her friend afterwards, giggling while glancing over at her.
It had been a long time since she wanted to be all alone in bed, not hearing anything but her own thoughts, but Kris’ ‘comeback’ seemed to have made a huge impression on everyone: He was the hot topic of the day. People were talking about him like they really knew him, while they couldn’t even get close to him because of Kai. There was only one girl who got closer than anyone else: Kim Hyori. She was Kai’s girlfriend, at least for this month… But then again, she only had an eye for Jongin. During lunch Yuna found herself staring at the small group. Lay was playing a bit with an apple in his hands, while reading a book, just like always. Suho was having a conversation with Kai, probably making him aware of something, while his expression was pretty serious. And Wufan.. She bit on her bottom lip. He was staring at his phone. Had he gotten her text? Was he thinking about answering it? Or was he texting to someone else? The male looked like a perfect sculpture; Yuna had never noticed that his features were so perfectly shaped. He wasn’t moving, not texting. She let out a deep sigh, turning her head. The girl couldn’t look at it any longer. She wanted to cry. Her best friend was finally back but she couldn’t even talk to him? It was absurd! Who did Kai think he was? She closed her eyes for a second, trying to calm down and hold back tears. Her phone buzzed. She swallowed. “Please…” she whispered softly. “Please, let it be you.” Yuna’s hand slowly moved towards her phone on the table, still mumbling to herself. Her heart skipped a beat. It was him! A smile curled itself around her lips, opening the message. The corners of her lips went down instantly as her eyes scanned the message. “No. I’m sorry, Nana. Just stay away from me. –Kris” She read the text message for a second time, a third time. “Nana.” Her lips moved but there was no sound coming out of her mouth. He used his nickname for her? The girl looked up to the table in the middle of the room again, seeing how they got up from their seats. Yuna grabbed her things and stormed out of the cafeteria, not noticing a bunch of people stared at her. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, like small rivers; all travelling in different ways towards her jaw, chin… eventually dying on her shirt or on the ground.
